Join Lee Goldsmith, owner of Native Legacy Tree & Perennial Nursery LLC to learn how to make wise decisions when choosing a tree for your landscape. Lee has been in the horticultural world her entire career, spending the past ten years as a nurseryman.

In this class you’ll discover that selecting a tree is a lot like hiring the right person for a particular job–it requires a bit of planning and research! In addition to answering your questions, Lee will equip you with a checklist to help you match your planting site with appropriate trees.

The Brenton Arboretum staff continue to closely monitor national and local guidance regarding the status of COVID-19 in our community. In order to protect public health, education program participants must adhere to the following safety guidelines:

• If you are unwell, or have been in contact with someone who is unwell in the past 14 days, then you must not attend the program. Refunds in full will be issued upon request, otherwise fees collected will be considered donations to support the Arboretum during this time of reduced operations.
• You must comply with current public health guidelines set forth by the CDC, which include social distancing and the use of masks under certain circumstances when on-site.
