Postponed Due to Lack of Registration: Family Insect Safari

Join us on an early out Wednesday for DC-G schools with retired teacher Bob Hall for a hands on Family Insect Safari. This program will offer you fun indoor activities and with weather permitting some outdoor fun. We’ll talk about insects we can find at the arboretum, how they benefit plants and trees as well as pollinators and all the benefits of insects.

All participants will receive a free take home poster.

This program is $5 per family for members and $15 per family for non-members. All ages welcome!

Meets at the Vista Room. Sorry, no pets. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is required by November 27.

Maximum of 15 families.
Programs require five participants to run.

Education Program Safety Policies:

The Brenton Arboretum staff continue to closely monitor national and local guidance regarding the status of COVID-19 in our community. In order to protect public health, education program participants must adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • If you are unwell, or have been in contact with someone who is unwell in the past 14 days, then you must not attend the program. Refunds in full will be issued upon request, otherwise fees collected will be considered donations to support the Arboretum during this time of reduced operations.
  • You must comply with current public health guidelines, which include social distancing and the use of masks under certain circumstances when on-site.
