Health & Wellness Series: Kids Yoga

Move! Breathe! Stretch! Grow!
Students will practice breathing techniques, stretching and moving their bodies in mindful and playful ways as they learn basic yoga poses. Movements are taught through themes, games, music, literature and even some partner poses. Students will develop strength and challenge the balance of their bodies while also learning how to slow down and focus their minds. Our certified yoga instructor completed her RCYT Training with Divine Light Yoga. She has 3 little yogis of her own, and also spend years as an elementary school teacher. She is a nature lover, and her favorite place to practice yoga is outdoors. Students should bring their own yoga mat and water bottle to class.
Class is open to ages 4-11. A parent/guardian must stay with child/student during class. Cost is $15.00 per child. One parent/guardian will be admitted for free with each child.
