Picnicking at The Brenton Arboretum
Casual visitors to The Brenton Arboretum are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the property. Please note that we do not provide trash cans so you will be expected to take everything with you at the end of your visit.
Those wanting to host larger picnic events (i.e. more than just a few people enjoying a spontaneous outing), are asked to make reservations through our Rental Department. This applies for events with more than a few people, events with decorations, family/church/class reunions, private celebrations, etc.
The stunning open-air Pavilion, the indoor Vista Room, the open event lawn, Overlook Point, the Labyrinth, as well as our newest rental addition, the amphitheater in Eddy Woods, are all available to rent for gatherings.

The Brenton Arboretum is also a venue for The Traveling Basket, a luxury picnic experience coordinator. The Traveling Basket offers A Day at The Brenton Arboretum Picnic package booked directly through their website.
